I'm having issues accessing the app livestreams, what do I do?
What’s Happening:
Having trouble accessing The Sophia Code App or joining livestreams? This usually involves checking your internet connection, updating the app, enabling notifications, or trying the web version. Most issues resolve in under 5 minutes.
✅ Quick Solution:
1. Force close the app completely
2. Check your WiFi/cellular signal
3. Reopen the app and wait 1 full minute for livestream to load
Ensure you have a strong WiFi or cellular signal. Poor connection is the #1 cause of app access issues. Try moving closer to your router or switching between WiFi and cellular data.
2. Update Everything
Phone software: Go to Settings → Software Update
App version: Check App Store/Google Play for updates
Requirements: iOS 15.0+ or Android 10+
3. Enable Push Notifications
Go to App → Profile → Settings → Push Notifications → Turn ALL notifications ON. This is crucial for receiving livestream alerts.
4. Wait for Livestreams
When joining livestreams, wait a full 60 seconds for the broadcast to load. The notification bar will appear at the bottom of your screen – click it to join.
5. Try the Web Version
Access the app through your computer browser at app.thesophiacode.org using the same login credentials.
